Procedures:
Field data collected during the progress of other project work was examined
in order to define specific fisheries problems and examine new fishery develop“
ments in Region 2”Ao
Findgngs:
In addition to past, well defined fisheries problems (rough fish populations,
vegetation growths and lack of prOper fisheries management) the problem of public
access has been brought to lighta Fishermen should be informed on where the public
has access to fishable waters. This brought about a public access survey (Job A”3)e
This job will be continued in the F—4-R—l3 segment.
Selective die—off of river carpsucker (Carpiodes carpio) continues in Lake
Kemp. A study has been initiated to determine the cause or causes (Job D—LZ)o
