ID Status: This lot in need of examination, but not yet examined. Work in progress.
ID Comments: As per e-mail from Andrew Williston and Karsten Hartel (received Feb18,2010) - 'Specimens collected by William McLane (MCZ 39579-39582 and MCZ 49296) are from Mexico, not Texas. These specimens were evidently georeferenced for “Rio Frio, Texas”--- this is incorrect. All labels (see example at left) and MCZ database entries indicate the specimens were collected in Rio Frio, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Is further information or examination of these fishes needed? '
