The location of the property is marked on Google Maps as 'Nicholstone on the Bayou'. Googleing that term online results in this site (http://www.nicholstone.com/), which states 'Nicholstone on the Bayou is a private residence that overlooks Dickinson Bayou. It was once the country estate of Fred McCraven Nichols...' Evermans' report indicates they sampled 'several miles above and below that place'.
