Characters
Body shape: eel-like. Eye large; preanal lateral line pores 59; dorsal and anal fins with black margin (Ref. 13608). No pores behind eye (Ref. 26938).
Distribution
Florida to Guianas, also Gulf of Guinea.
Habitat Associations
Marine. demersal. depth range 11-63 m.
