Habitat Associations
Brackish, marine. demersal. Found in: estuaries.

Inhabit coastal marine and estuarine areas (Ref. 9321). Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205). Incidentally caught with other species of mullets (Ref. 9321). Marketed fresh and salted (Ref. 9321).
