Biology

Inhabits rocky riffles and runs of clear, fast creeks and small to medium rivers. Seek cover during the day and actively forage at night (Ref. 93252).

Reproductive mode: dioecism; fertilization: external; guarders. Eggs are laid in masses which the male guards.
